Sulev Raik has become a new member of the team of Investment Agency, a company based on Estonian capital and mainly involved with the provision of sales counseling to companies.
“I have a banking background. I joined the industry more than 20 years ago and been involved with regional stock markets since then. I started my career as a stock broker at a local investment banking boutique Cresco. In the mid and late 90s, Cresco was actively participating in privatizations, M&A, IPOs and company listings. In 2002, I joined SEB Wealth Management Estonia as a fund manager for Eastern European equity portfolios. Since 2005 I focused on Russia and CIS markets. In 2006 SEB Russia Fund was launched, which became a winner of a Lipper Fund Award 2012 – Switzerland, by Thomson Reuters. The fund was credited also with strong ratings by S&P, Morningstar and Citywire over time. I have worked also in a local business daily Äripäev, been a salesman and entrepreneur.”
“Economic growth is speeding up in Estonia and the M&A market gets busier. The same regards to our neighbours, which has increased the potential of a cross-border business. Low interest rate environment and solid liquidity situation form excellent conditions for the businessman to execute their goals and we are here to help them.”
